Sles9 Client Upgrade OS mismatch

jounix
Level 3

I'm currently upgrading all the clients in my enviroment from 6.5.4 to 7.0.1. I have been successful and upgrading all other clients but one. I am getting prompted to select the OS. I have verified the server is Suse. Sles 9, and 64 bit. Does anyone know why NB is not picking up on the correct OS.

I'm sorry to say that SLES9 on x86 was dropped in NetBackup 7.  SLES 9 is only supported on IA64, POWER and z/Architecture.

You'll either need to keep the client at 6.x or update the O/S to SLES10 or SLES11.

I wish I had better news for you - sorry!
