Snapshot Error 156 - Win2K3 Server(SQL DB Server)

Friends,

One of our Win2K3 server is failing with snapshot error 156 frequently. SQL database is running on the server.

When backing up all local drives(C,D,E and F) , I am gettting this error(Particularly .bak files are getting backed up).

No VSS or VSP is enabled for windows open file backup.

Free space for C is 7 gb, D is 9 gb, E is 10 mb and F is 6.8 gb in the server. Could you pls suggest me to resolve the issue...?

VSS is enabled by default. You have to explicitly disable it.
Follow steps as advised by Suman. You will have to add the the client name under Client attributes if not already there.
