The post where you tagged onto was for NBU 6.5.4, HPUX 11.11 host that has a folder with 10's of thousands of files in it.

Please tell us about the client you are trying to backup.

Client is  RS6000 AIX5

NBU version on AIX client?
And master and/or media server?

Backup selection details?
Number of files in folder/filesystem?'

Have you had a look at the advice given in the original discussion where you posted?
Have you tried to apply any of that advice?

Hi,

It seems be client server running out of server resources.

Free up memory by terminating any unneeded processes that consume cpu, memory. Add more swap space or physical memory.

Thanks & Regards,

Have you tried the suggested solution in TN http://www.veritas.com/docs/000023785?
AIX Client filesystem backup fails with Error Status 10 "allocation failed"

This TN was also referenced in the post that you found a couple of days ago...
