Hi all,
We run an AD backup policy (with Granularity) and this policy contains 5 clients and the "Allow Multiple Data Streams" has been checked and always working up until today. 1 out of the 5 clients reports error:
1: (112) no files specified in the file list
This happens right after a stream discovery. If I disable multiple data streams, the client backs up just fine.
As far as I know, nothing has changed on this client, and definetely, nothing changed in the policy. Why would a stream discovery fail?
Thanks all,
Seth

ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES
However, I think I was able to solve it. I unchecked "Use Multiple Data Streams", ran a diff-incr, checked the box again and it suddenly worked...
I have no clue why.. But, it's fixed!

Please do not make changes to policies during the week when Incr backups are due.
Results can be unpredictable.
Try to only make changes when a Full backup is due.

Thanks for the warning and I'll make that a practice here in our organization. Have a good one!
