I have a differential backup that has the referenced error. A full backup does run successfully. The client is a Linux system running RedHat 2.6 and the master server is Netbackup 7.1 running on a Windows Server 2008 R2.
Here are the job details:
5/23/2012 6:10:00 PM - Info nbjm(pid=33196) requesting STANDARD_RESOURCE resources from RB for backup job (jobid=200212, request id:{9DB78ADF-79EE-4CAB-8935-75677FAE5D8B})

5/23/2012 6:10:00 PM - Error nbjm(pid=33196) NBU status: 219, EMM status: Storage unit is not defined in EMM

Any help in the right direction would be great. Thanks.

Full schedule storage = Infrastructure
Policy storage = STU_Puck2_Dedup
Differential would default to this storage unit
Change the policy storage to Infrastructure and it will likely work
(then make sure this is the desired storage unit; what happened to the dedup STU?)

I believe they are. I have attached a screen shot of the policy.

I am not sure what happened to the STU_PUCK2_Dedup. This policy is the only one backing up to it. I will test this change and let you know. Thanks.

As Bill has pointed out, they are using different STUs
i.e. Differential using 'default' policy STU of "STU_Puck2_Dedup" & the FULL schedule has this over-ridden with "Infrastructure"
So, again per Bills post, there's an issue with the 'default' STU .....

The backup is currently running. After the differential and full backups complete i will update the post. Thank you for your help as well.

Working then!
Going to "Infrstructure" or did you 'fix' the other STU?

It is going to Infrastructure. Thank you all for your help.
