Hello, I use nbrestorevm

I try to restore VM in another VM for this i use parameter -R '/path/to/file'

Command is like : nbrestorevm -vmw -C client_name -s star_date -e end_date -vmpo -R 'path/to/file/conf.txt'

All that I need to change for new machine is name :

conf.txt

[

change vmname to new_name

]

when run EXIT STATUS 6000 : The provided path in not whitelisted.
How to solve this problem? Is something wrong with conf file? And yes I need to create this machine manual or it will be created autmoatically?

That could be this one

Error code: 6000 "The provided path is not whitelisted" occurs during NetBackup operations

We assume that /path/to/file is a placeholder and not the real path, right?

What is the actual path where you have created conf.txt?

You will notice that the the initial / is missing from the command in your opening post.

The rename file should be a single line (without the square brackets) and only <CR> at the end of the line.

See http://www.veritas.com/docs/000074168   for 'rename-file' info.
