Hello all,
My infrastructure is this :
Master Server : Windows Server 2008 R2 v8.3.0.2
Appliance 5230 : v3.3.0.2
It's a Confidential Network.
Before my appliance was v3.1.1, i don't know if the upgrade is the reason of the issue...
When i list the Volume Disk / Disk Pool / Storage Server :
Volume Disk is DOWN
Disk Pool is UP
Storage Server is DOWN
When i want to start the storage server this command is successfull but do nothing !
nbdevconfig -changests -storage _server <ApplianceName> -stype PurDisk -state RESET
When i want to start the Disk Volume it's work, but go DOWN arround after 1m30.
nbdevconfig -changestate -stype PureDisk -dp <DPName> -dv PureDiskVolume -state RESET
The bptestbpcd is ok
bpclntcmd -get_remote_host_version <ApplianceName>
When i check the Admin log i see this error : vnet_vxss_check_user_cred() failed : 35
There is no failed in the spad log and spoold log.
The configuration is in USE_VXSS = PROHIBITED
In the nbemm log:
vnet_proxy_socket_swap failed, retval: 7660(ProxyConnector.cpp:187)
PBXIOP_Connection_Handler::open, connectToProxy() failed, retval = 7660
PBXIOP_Concurrency_Strategy_MT::svc, svc_handler not activated,3:TAO,2
could you tell me which log i must check plz.
now i don't know where to look to find out this issue !
Could you help me please.

Hello,
I've resolved the issue.
There was many problems:
- Certificate i have update
- Get off Media Server on the Storage Server for Credential
- Restart Netbackup Services
- stop nbrmms
- Restart nbrmms
- Change state of Volume / DiskPool and StorageUnit.

Hello,
I have checked compatibility matrix and Windows 2008 is not supported for NetBackup 8.x servers. You should resolve this first. Storage Server/Appliance itself is probably fine, a problem could be with communication with the Master Server.

Michal

I agree with @Michal_Mikulik1 .
Plan to upgrade OS version for NBU 8.3.x version. It should be resolved first.

actually 2008 is a supported OS version for 8.2. At least was supported when 2008 was supported by Microsoft.
I think that the fastest way to resolve this is to open a case to veritas support.
