Hi All,
I am running NetBackup Enterprise 7.6.1 on Solaris 11. Just this morning I started to get a strange event. When ever I use the Java GUI to make changes to the NB database I get a, short lived, Java box that says "Action succeeded but auditing failed" with no error message number. It doesn't sound too dangerous But I would like to find out what's happening.
Thanks!

It is not major issue - unless you rely a lot on auditing your GUI user actions.
If audit is a concern, check out this technote: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO105008 , might want to get Support to review nbaudit & bpdbm logs you collected.

According to the technote by Watsons - it could indicate a script or user doesn't provide the right set of parameters to a command being audited. Thus the error.
Use command
nbauditreport -fmt DETAIL
To see if audit loggin details matches normal work hours or schedules cron scripts
