I hope someone can help me. I rule recently the backup and should do for nearly 300 systems.
Now I run an export of all the backups that have run the day before. It works good, but it should be easier.
So I hope someone can explain to me how I can get a simple overview of all the backups that have run the day before and I will receive this automatically by e-mail. So I can see if the backup was successful or not.
I have to check the backup every day and if I can just check in an simple overview by mail than this spare me some time.
I hope someone knows a way to do this.
Thanks.

i would suggest you to go with Opscenter,
go ahead and install the opscenter (basic is free version and anylitic is licensec version), and configure it
in opscenter you can create a report , which will send the daily backup status at required time to specifified mail id
you can also set the alert notificationions for failed jobs.. so that it will trigger the alert and send a mail when there is a failures..
you can download opsCenter from Fileconnect.symatec.com ( you need to provide the serial number)
alternately if you are not going with Opscenter.. you can set mail notifications in netbackup

Hi,
I think about working with opcenter , any idea where I can find the serial key and what which one I need?
Thank you.

You should have a serial number provided when you purchased your NetBackup licenses. This would be on paperwork/email from your reseller. This gains access to the downloadable media for NetBackup software and the OpsCenter software.
Serial number is different to license key. You can also get serial number from the licensing portal for symantec. http://licensing.symantec.com/

We have been working with OPSCenter already it was just not well tuned. We have now an overview/report that is based on a script that leads you to a template and so every day we will receive automaticly an email .
This script and template is obsolete and I'm going to continue editing this script with the current systems.
Thanks for the comments .
