My query is related with symantec netbackup client services.
Scenario: As per our system policies we need to change privledge users password periodically. and when ever we change our password backup scheduled in netbackup get failed even after confiquring new password inthe services of symantec netbackup in master server.
I want to is it mandatory to confiqure password everytime in client system also.

what they of backup that you are taking from client systems? does it DB or file systems?
Most of the cases netbackup can run fine with the local admin access , no need to provide user name and passwd in servics.. very few backup data types requierd the privilages... like Exchage GRT backups.
so let us know what kind of data that you are backing up from the clients ?

""even after confiquring new password inthe services of symantec netbackup in master server."
You don't need to have the master's services run with a domain account (unless you're doing some type of CIFS mount to backup remote file shares).
Setting a domain account on the client's services is only required for Exchange (with GRT), SharePoint, and in certain instances, SQL clients.

Run all the Netbackup client services as SYSTEM

Exchange, File system and DB backups.
Every time whenever we reset password for domain admin account through which backup are running. we need to confiqure it in master as well as client system.
Kindly suggest how can this problem be solved.
