Tape buffer size lower than Netbackup configured

Hi guys,

We have one master server Netbackup Enterprise 7.0 and 3 media servers.

One of the media server has been implemented mainly for restoring all tape tecnology LTO1.

One Ultrium 446 external drive is attached to this particular media sever trough SCSI con.

Until now all data had been well restored for LTO1, but yesterday we tried to restore  and we got this error.

" The tape device at index 2 has a maximum block size of 65536 bytes, a buffer size of 262144 cannot be used"

I found several post on this site as usual.

One of them is https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/netbackup-70-standalone-drive.

I tried to apply the solution but it did not work.

I still get the same error.

When I ran nt_ttu I got this pitchure:

Which tape driver is installed for the LTO1?

I have seen the same problem at a customer where the Windows driver was loaded when rebooted. We removed the Windows driver and installed the Symantec driver. Everything worked fine again... We went as far as deleting the Windows driver from system32 to prevent it from being loaded again.
