Tar file write error (10054)

Hi All,

I am using  version 5.1. version of master server.

on windows 2000 client .(Version 5.1 MP6)

while taking backup we are getting error as "tar file write error (10054)."

Pls suggest.

That's a pretty generic socket error, which usually points to a network issue.  Are your NIC's set to full-duplex and same speed throughout the Netbackup environment? 

What error is your backup failing with?
