The backup is failed with error code - network connection timed out(41)

My backup is getting failed with error code 41 frequently.

 

Server : 

Master Server - Windows 2003 R2 - Netbackup 7.5.0.6

Client - Windows2003 - Netbackup 7.5.0.4

Pls suggest solution and further troubleshooting.

would lead me to believe the "Symantec Private Branch Exchange" service on the client is not running.  Check the services, and if the service *is* running, check your DNS and "hosts" files on the client and master to make sure nothing is pointing to the wrong host.

increase client read timeout from 300 to 3600

The issue was resolved after rebooting the client host.

Now backups are running well.
