The storage data format is ahead of software supported version

Hi all  An unsuccessful attempt was made to update the cluster node from version 7.6.1.2 to 8. The result is version 7.6.1.2. MSDP pool gives an error ”The storage data format is ahead of software supported version”

How can I fix this to work with version 7.6.1.2?

Andrii

Try to fix problem through:

"C:\Program Files\Veritas\pdde\stconv.exe" --fixformatfile

Maybe convertation  has not gone so far.

HI,

Provide output of below commands:-

C:\Program Files\Veritas\pdde>spoold.exe --test

C:\Program Files\Veritas\pdde>spad.exe --test

C:\Program Files\Veritas\pdde>spad.exe --trace

C:\Program Files\Veritas\pdde>spoold.exe --trace

Open a support request with Veritas

Results of spoold.exe, spad.exe execution in the attachment

I agree with Nicolai. Don't try to revert back. Rather log an urgent call with Support about failed upgrade of clustered NBU master to 8.0.

In the meantime, check Upgrade Guide, Installation Guide and Clustered Master Server Guide to ensure that you have ALL requirements in place.

We can only hope that @AndriiPushkarov managed to find a solution since the issue was experienced a week ago.
