Hello,
My tape library is presenting the error ( 42), "There is available in the media access port .
Preparation Eject Failed: Can not connect to robotic software daemon", performed some procedures to stop all NetBackup services, physical restart the tape, and return the error persists.Someone has faced something like that?

Configuration my software.:
Master server: Windows 2008 R2
NBU.: 7.5
Tape library.: StorageTek SL150 (with the drivers of TL is OK, the TL is OK)

Solved !!!!
Made was the TL restart with no ribbon driver , the NBU Nai indentificou one tape que was no driver , estrou logo freeze was Reboot Required to TL correctly and restart the Master Services and Media Server.

If there are empty slots in the library you could run an inventory and select to empty the MAP.
Or physically empty the map.
