Hi,

May I know is the problem solved?

I encounter similar problem on one of the windows media server:
In \install_path\Volmgr\Debug\daemon log, I have "oprd: can get lockfile, assume ltid not active"
When I executing vmoprcmd -d ds, the says ".... <ltid> is not active..."
However when executing vmoprcmd -stopltid, it gives "cannot obtain deamon lockfile"

Any advice?

Thanks.

you start a new discussion & include as much info as you think's relevant (versions, O/S's etc etc) as this post was created over 2 years ago & has had no responses until now! ***EDIT*** "fristy_guy" has also had no input on the forum for over 2 years so it is doubtful that he frequents the forum any more & so it is unlikely that he would advise as to whether his issue was resolved.

We will then hopefully be able to assist.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm currently escalating the problem to symantec & they had webex in to troubleshoot for almost 12 hours and yet to have any progress.  I believe what I encounter is not something straight forward to resolve (we had gone so far as to de-install the media server, deletehost from EMM, movedb, etc, etc). Will update the forum if there's any fruitful finding.
