Hi,

the enterprise vault administrators upgraded the software to sp4 last weekend and did a password change of service account for Enterprise Vault. I used this accoutn to start netbackup client on my Evault server and sql server for evault. I changed the password for the services then on the host properties of the sql server and evault server but i can'T backup evault anymore.

Here is the error i get in the bpbrm log

10:51:26.079 [6332.6384] <2> write_file_names: buffering file name 'EV_OPEN_PARTITION=ExchVS1' for output
10:51:26.079 [6332.6384] <2> write_file_names: buffering file name 'EV_OPEN_PARTITION=FileSytemVS1' for output

10:51:31.305 [6332.6384] <2> bpbrm Exit: EXIT STATUS 2: none of the requested files were backed up

Then the backup failed immediatly

Can anyone help me?

I assume you are using powershell to set EV in backup mode or EV Agent?
Sins NBU is running and seems to do something, I assume you changed the log on credentials for the netbackup clilent service as well?
And restarted the client service
