Re: Unable to delete Disk Pool from Master Server

We ran across this issue a couple months back and after logging call with support, a stop and restart of Netbackup resolved the issue.  This for NetBackup 7.7.1.    After the restart we were able to delete the disk pool without issue.

Re: Unable to delete Disk Pool from Master Server

I have shared another TN 2 weeks ago:

http://www.veritas.com/docs/000011549

If you did not follow the steps in the correct order, there could be orphaned entries left in EMM database.

If this is what happened, you will need to log a Support call with Veritas.
Thwy will ask you for a dump of EMM db's, after which they will provide you with a SQL script to delete orphaned entries.

Re: Unable to delete Disk Pool from Master Server

NetBackup can left behind STU record somethere in the EMM. It's a good idea to unload EMM  end check if there is a record  that points to the STU.
