Unable to load activity monitor on admin clients after NIC swap

I swapped out a NIC on my combo master/media server (running Windows 2003 x64), and since then, neither the Java nor Windows client can load the activity monitor, and everything else in the client seems very slow.  The local client works fine, and the server seems to back up just fine, but I just can't administer it remotely.  The Java admin console just spins an hourglass indefinitely when you try to access the activity monitor, and the Windows console just says "Not connected, check if services are up" in the Activity Monitor.

Everything seems to be up, I'm wondering if somehow the remote admin port is attempting to listen on an interface that no longer exists or something... has anyone seen anything like this before?

Windows firewall perhaps? Java/Windows admin consoles to master and media servers requires the TCP ports for vnetd 13724 and PBX 1556 bidirectional. Check netstat -a output.

Check bprd log on master for evidence of incoming connection request from your desktop.
