Hello all,

I'm trying to recover files from SPS backup of yesterday night and getting this error: EXIT STATUS 29: failed trying to exec a command

I'm running NetBackup 6.5.5 with some EEB applied for Sharepoint agent.

Any ideas?

Check if portmapper is started at your master server. Here is a procedure:

a. In the Device Manager, click View and then Show Hidden Devices
b. Under Non-Plug and Play Devices, select portmap to pull up its properties.
c. Under portmap Properties, check what is the current status of the driver.

I found this article a while ago, but it does not seem to be persistent.
Any ideas how to make portmap starting on demand?
