What do you mean by "job not getting closed". The job details above show that things are all done.

Also, what Netbackup version? What kind of data restore (filesystem, database or others)?

Which type of filesystem are you restoring? Restoring to same or different mount point?

Did you remember to create tar log folder on the client under /usr/openv/netbackup/logs before starting the restore?

The tar log will show us what is happening on the client during the restore, as the backup and restore manager (bpbrm) on the media server received successful restore message from tar process on the client.

It's file system restore and the source and detination client servers are different.

Have you been able to find out filesystem type on source and destination clients?
(There are many supported filesystem types on Unix/Linux.)
Are filesystem types the same on source and destination server?

Do you have tar log on destination client?

If not, create the log folder and retry the restore, then copy the tar log on the client to tar.txt and upload here as File attachment.

7/13/2014 12:01:23 PM - Info bpbrm(pid=6336) 10.242.250.107 is the host to restore to

7/13/2014 12:02:48 PM - Error bpbrm(pid=6336) cannot initialize emm error = 25

Seems to be the underlying problem, could be caused by multiple net cards and/or name resolution issues

Would run bptestbpcd from the master and media against the destination client and bpclntcmd -pn and bpclntcmd -self on the destination client

The standard questions: Have you checked: 1) What has changed. 2) The manual 3) If there are any tech notes or VOX posts regarding the issue
