Upgrading Data domain OS and DD Boost

HI,

We are upgrading Data domain OS and DD Boost.

Need to know how to check Data Domain visible from Netbackup 7.0 ??

Is there any activity need from net bsackup end?

I'm going to assume that you mean NetBackup 7.7 and not 7.0. NetBackup supports DDBoost plugins 3.1, 3.2 if remember correctly. The DD OS is not relevant.

We are using DDOS 5.4.1.1 & DD boost 2.4..2.0 for  Netackup 7.0

I am planning to upgrade DDOS & DDboost , then going for Netbackup upgrade...

Need to know on storage server and DD visibilty from both Netbackup 7.0 & Netbackup 7.7.3

Anything need to be taken care for all this upgrades...Also enabling  Accelerator for File server backups after upgrading to 7.7.3...Is it a right approach to have both accelerator and DD deduplication at the same environment...??

Accelerator and DDBoost can co-exist, they don't do the same thing.

I am pretty sure we have in previous posts referred you to compatibility lists.
The HCL will tell you which OST plugin version is compatible with which NBU version.
For DDOS and plugin compatibility, you need to consult EMC documentation.
