Upgrading NBU 7.1 > 7.5 with symbolic links

Master was converted to from Windows to Linux.  Needed to created symbolic links around the naming conventions due to Linux being case sensative, and windows was not.  If the master is upgraded to version 7.5 will this break any of the links that were created?

Yes symbolic links can be broken in upgrades.

It depends where the link is, but for 100% certain, upgrades can fail and completely trash an install if links are put where they shouldn't be.
