Upgrading from 7.1 to 7.5.0.1

hi,

We need to upgrade our Netbackup from 7.1 to 7.5.0.1 to keep consistent with our latest backup domain. Before the upgrading, we have some questions to ask or verify since we don’t have much experience.

  1. Where can I download the 7.5.0.1 upgrading pack for master , media servers and clients?

2.We have NDMP backups for Netapp filers. Do we need to do any change on the filer? Or do we need to re-configure the NDMP host after the upgrading?

3. we have a lot fo NBU clients and we backup team don't have all the login access right to them. so is there any method to upgrade the NBU client without login them one by one? for example, populate the new version from master........something like that?

Please help point the right direction!

thanks very much!

1. Here

http://www.symantec.com/global/licensing/

You have to sign in and provide the serial number for your licence.  If you do not know this contact customer care (not technical suppport as they can't help with licence details).

2.

No change should be required.

3. You can push an upgrade from the master, if the master is the same os type as the cllient.

Marianne explains all here ... it it also covered in the manuals
