VM Snapshots using netbackup bpbackup flashbackup

I was looking at a client side intiated backup of a VM server hosted on vSphere 5.

This would entail the use of a bpbackup command to intiate the backup by making a call to a Master Server Netbackup Policy which would undertake a snapshot of the VM using a FlashBackup-Windows and Mapped FullVM configuration.

1st question: Is this possible?

2nd question: what would i have to be aware of in such an approach?

Many thanks

Following on from Mark_Solution feedback, there is no user schedule on a Flashbackup-Windows policy type.  Therefore by my understanding - bpbackup cannot be run from the client.  Is this correct?

Thanks

It would be possible, but vSphere 5 will not be supported until NBU 7.1.0.3 or 7.5

It would have to be a specific policy just for the client(s) you wanted to back up.
