VMQUERY command

Hi Experts,

If i run vmquery -m media Id command there is an option status i.e 0x0. Could you pls let me know what is this and how many are there?

status:                0x0

mph999 answered that question in this thread:

Possible values are 

0x0

0x1

0x2

0x3

The numbers are in hex, (0x ..) so, this is just 0, 1, 2, 3

0x0 = Volume is assigned to standard backups

0x1 = Volume is assigned to Catalog backups

No idea what 0x2, 3 are - if I ever need to know, I'll look in http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC3684 on page 190.

The answer is I don't know and have never needed to know in my many years of Netbackup.

Just checked over 20,000 tapes they're all status 0x0
