Hello,

I am getting strange error message ...

But it seems that restore are OK ...

I am runing NBU7.6.02 RHEL master server with an NBUAPP 5230 ronning N2.6.0.2

Maybe it is only "cosmetic" issue, but how can I correct this ?

Thanks all !!!

Hi, ElGringo

This is issue about log message printting. it will occur in 7602, as it's not been fixed yet in 7.6.0.2, it should be fixed in future release. It seems to has no impact on VMware restore, you could ignore this message.

Thanks

But it seems that restore are OK ..

what does it mean...? are you able to validate the restore and VM is up and running fine after restore?

what is the transport method that you used to restore?

The error indicates an access denied one some of the disk or snapshot information - well worth double checking all of the rights allocated to your vCenter account in use:

@Mark_Solutions : My VMware account is member of VMware administrator, so I doubt that it is a permission issue.

@Nagalla : Yes, I can power On the VM and it runs fine. I use NBD transport mode.

may be you need to provide entire log to this post..

i guess.. first restor try to use the SAN transport.. since it got the above error it did switch to NBD and get the restore done..

did you select both SAN and NBD transport in restore window?

if possible attach the entire log that you were looking..

If I had a $ for every time i have heard that .... "My VMware account is member of VMware administrator, so I doubt that it is a permission issue."

Have you actually checked it against the list in the tech note?
