VMware backups are failing with NetBackup Error 26: client/server handshaking failed

HI,

The VMware backups are failing with NetBackup Error 26: client/server handshaking failed.

The snapshot creation is successful. After that we are getting the error code 26.

Please help me to understand what would be the issue.

let us know more info about your enviornment

what is the netbackup version  & OS in Master, media and backup host?

are you using the Vcenter or ESXi?

what is the transport that you are using..?

are you using the SAN transport or NBD?

does the media server and backup hosts are same?
