VMware backups failed -4204 status code

Hi Folks,

VMware backups are failing with error 4204.

Please suggest us to troubleshoot the issue., backups configured based on query.and few of the backups only getting failed and rest of the backups are completed for the same policy.

and backup is failing for different server every day not for the same host.

We have changed the VM identifier as VM displayname is it impact on it.

Saw this:  "Incompatible client found"

Have you checked that your infrastructure versions and config are supported in the NetBackup SCL and HCL ?

What happens when you run the 'Test Query' function from the policy? 

I've seen issues with VIP when there was a full file system (/log I believe). There were 100s of .xml files that clogged up the file system, preventing the query from functioning correctly.

Have you tested backups by manually specifying the problematic VMs?

1 For this VMWare server ever backup complete or not?

2 For this issue random vm guest or only this vm guest.

3 Test snapshot this vm from vc complete or not?

4 How many concurrent vmware snapshot for this policy may need to tune the snapshot concurrent.

5 Check compatibility Netbackup and Vmware environment.
