Thanks for the update

 

We have moved the drive from HP storage to Netapp .How do I ensure Lun or permission is mapped correctly.

Hi,

 

This is tasks for your VMWARE and SAN/Storage administrators. The LUNS containing the VMFS  datastores need to be identified and then they must be zoned to the HBA WWPNs of the backup host. In some cases futher mapping might also be required on the Storage Array to allow access.

 

Once that is done, OS level commands like fdisk on linux / device manager on Windows should show the disks are visible to the system.
