VMware snapshot backup: nbd transport error Status 23

Hello,

VMware snasphot backup is failing with error, ERR - Error opening the snapshot disks using given transport mode: nbd Status 23. We are using NBD,connectivity to vcenter (port 443) and esxi host (port 902) is working and master/media server can ping the esxi kernel network. In the vxms log there are SSL Certificate error .Can someone please help me troubleshoot this error.

• Did the backup worked fine before or is it the first implementation? If the former, do you have any idea what changed? If the later, do you know what could be different from the other ESXi been backed up?
• On the virtual machine you're trying to backup, can you create snapshots directly from VMware and hold them for some minutes? (Make sure to consolidate them afterwards).
• Can the VMware ESXi resolve the NetBackup Master Server, NetBackup Media Server and NetBackup Backup Host? Can the NetBackup servers resolve the ESXi?
• Can you still obtain a list of virtual machines available for backup from the NetBackup VMware policy?
