Here is some more information on the error.
I am taking Mapped Full VM Backups of a Virtual Machine using vStorage API methodology. The Netbackup server version is 7 running on Windows 2008 R2. The backups are coming over the network using the nbd transport. This error is happening for a number of VM's.
The backup runs for a long time and towards the end it gives this message with a status code of 11.
