Raju.la,

Try removing the VM host from configured policy and re-add it from the VM host list. If it doesn't resolve the issue, use FQDN for the VM,still fails, configure IP and run a test backup. Also check if enough disk space exist for the VM. Run a test snapshot from vCenter. That should resolve the issue. Let us know.

Please provide the failed job detail status ... I would like to start from there..

You should really patch up to 7.5.0.5.  There were several issues in 7.5.x and VM.  Please see : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH178334 .  There is even mention of a status 13 issue.

It is always best pratices to load the latest patchset after an upgrade.

Here are the links to download : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH199269

This does not require a reboot, however a restart of netbackup services will be needed.

here i attach the job details txt file.

i agree about patching but this happen as of sudden so i strongly believe something changed on either side.

Looks like there is a lost conenction right away.  Do you have any other backup going to the same storage unit that is sucessful ?  ( datadomain_vtl )

Please upload the bpbrm log.

Also, were there any change made to ports or firewalls ?  Confrim these are open bi-directional :

13724 tcp/udp
13782 tcp/udp

From clients to master/media
13724 tcp/udp
13720 tcp/udp
13721 tcp/udp

FYI
13724 = vnetd
13782 = bpcd
13720 = bprd
13721 = bpdbm

Hi,

yes all remaining backups to DD are working just fine.

firewall settings no changes as of current info but i check with vm team again. as i mention ours in backup host model for vm snapshots backup so this bi-direcrtonal needs to be verified from client or backup host ?

here i attach the bpbram log.

appreciate your help.

Check the ports and permissions :

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH130493

What transport mode are you using for the VM ?

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH183072 best practices
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH152533
http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO44491

I can't express engough that you should really patch to 7.5.0.5 :)
