Hi All,

Environment details:

Master OS : Linux

Master NBU Version : 7.0.1

Client OS : Windows 2000

Client NBU Version : 6.5.5

We have enabled VSP option for this client to backup, and the file is very large is size now....it occupied around 40 gb of space.

Would like to know, if we may remove this file ? Or how we can prevent to have this file created again and again.

Please assist with your experties....

Thanks in advance.

Windows 2000, nice! I had a customer with WinNT in a VM recently.  So here is a great article written about this exact situation and what to do about it. As a bonus, its quite entertaining:

Thanks Marianne and Terry, I have got the issue resolved .

Now I have disabled VSP, so that the file will not get created again and again. Hope this is fine to disable VSP and it wont hamper the backup in any manner.
