VTL and multiple data streams

Dears ,,,

 

i know is not able to use multiplexing on VTL (Datadomain), but i don't know if that able to use multiple data stream in VTL.

Any idea about that...

Multiple Data Streams with MPX = 1 will mean that each stream will write to a different drive.
Perfectly fine, as long as you have enough virtual drives.

All VTL vendors have their own 'Best Practice' docs.  The ones I have seen all recommend single stream backups to virtual tape drives.
