Ok, I am running NetBackup 6.5.4 with Vault. We duplicate everyday and there is a standard cron job to do run the eject and reporting for Iron Mountain to take offsite. This is 100% automated process.
Here is the issue, that I have been dealing with lately, that was not a problem before. Lately we have had quite a few requests that are coming from tapes that are offsite. So we submit the request to Iron Mountain and get the tapes back. Sometimes the restores can cross days.... So if that happens, the vault grabs that tape and wants to send it back offsite. ARGH!
So, any way I can set something on the tape so that it doesn't go offsite?
