Vault: Reports don't run if no tapes eject

We're in the final stages of migrating from an old tape library to a new one. We no longer have backup jobs writing to the old tapes, but we do still have old tapes stored off-site cycling back in. Our daily Vault for the
old library runs as always, but since nothing was written to the old tapes the night before, there is nothing to eject. With nothing to eject, the Picking List for Vault and Vault Inventory reports do not run.

We need these reports to run; how do I get them to run if there are no ejects?

Thanks,
Chuck

P.S. We're using NetBackup 5.0 MP5

I believe this is normal behavior for TLD libraries. Is this your library type?

No, it's an ACS silo (an old StorageTek Powderhorn).

You can run reports from the command line using the vault operator interface. Look in /usr/openv/netbackup/bin for the vlt commands.

When I try to run the Picking List for Vault report using the Vault Operator Menu, it returns "(309) report requested without eject being run".

Hey! I just installed the recently-released MP6 for NetBackup 5.0, and the problem is gone! Those reports are now running, even though no tapes are being ejected. Sweet!
