Vault jobs Lock

Hi,

My current environment is 7.6.0.4.Vault jobs are failing with error code 308 and 306 daily due to which duplication jobs fails with error code 2009 and 2074. I have read once in a post that this generally happens when the duplication batches in vault jobs have different media servers than that of media server of original policy backup. Can anyone please explain me if I am correct or wrong?

Another question is, I have seen in all vault jobs detailed status that the Vault duplication lock is done by master server. Is it like that only master server locks the vault profile or any media server can also do that?

Well rather then guessing and assuming I would look like to take a lokk at the sid logs, session logs, admin logs and bpdbm

It will give a better picture of what is wrong...

The errors you are seeing seem to have very little to do with 'job locks', but rather with DOWN devices - disk and tape drives.

This is where you should focus your troubleshooting efforts.
