Verify After Restore

Hello,

I am having inconsistent results when restoring a few data disks from a client.

Is there a way of verifying files after restore? I could find the verification after backup functionality, but I see nothing similar for restoring.

Does NBU have something similar?

No, I did not find such function in my long netbackup usage...

For this, you must generally use a platform where the data were restored, not NetBackup. So for example Windows/Linux/database utilities etc.

"not consistent" restore results are usually due to missing permissions, lack of space, symbolic links etc.

As a quick "common sense" method, you can compare number/size of restored files on the disk against those reported in restore job.

Any more details waht exactly is not consistent?
