Dear Export,
I have problem about Netbackup San Client on Solaris Ldom as error below;
Please kindly help and suggestion
System Environment
1) CDOM Solaris 11.13
2) LDOM Solaris 10u11 -> Netbackup Master Server & Media Server
I have try to config San Client on Ldom but get error as details below;
# ./nbftsrv_config -nbhba
Installing nbhba driver.
DRIVER_NAME ql2300_stub found.
Uninstalled WinDriver for FT Server mode.
Waiting for driver references to ql2300_stub to free up (this may take some time).
The following driver aliases need to be removed:
qlc "pci1077,2312"
qlc "pci1077,2422"
qlc "pci1077,2432"
qlc "pciex1077,2432"
qlc "pciex1077,2532"
Would you like to run update_drv to remove these now? [y,n] (y)
Done copying driver into system directories.
Done adding driver.
Installed driver for nbhba mode.
MUST REBOOT TO COMPLETE INSTALLATION.
# reboot
# ./nbhba -l
Unable to communicate with HBA ports.
Please ensure that this system is set up correctly with nbftsrv_config.
(Must not be set up as FT Server.)
Error #11: system call failed
Thank you for your support

Hi,
I've not seen this discussed in quite sometime but, long ago, this wasn't supported. Please see below
https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/netbackup-SAN-FT-client-for-Solaris-LDOMs/td-p/515125
I don't think anything has changed.

SAN Client or SAN Media server?
There is a difference. https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000007947
If we look at NetBackup Support for Oracle Solaris Virtualization it seems that DISK media server and standard client is supported, not SAN client:
Solaris 10 Logical Domains (LDoms) Support
Guest domain support is limited to standard client, database agents, master server and disk media server.
