Veritas netbackup 6.5 + SAP backup

Dear Folks ,

I am facing strange issue. i am having DC- DR scenrio.

DC Master server name is mastbkp1 & DR Master server name is drmastbkp1.

DR is passive & will be activated only in case of disaster. I need to configure backup for DR.

SID.sap & SID.util are on SAN path ( /oracle/PM1/102_64/dbs ) which are getting replicated from DC to DR using storage based replication.

DC SID.sap & DC SID.util are having server entry as DC master server. The same entry is reaching DR also due to storage based replication.

Now everytime when i want to run backup in DR i have to manually rename server name in SID.util.

Any solution for it to avoid manual intervention ???

What you are trying to do is having a client member of two Netbackup domains at the same time. But the SID.utl file only allow to reference one Netbackup master server.
