I know that MSDP is not supported on a NFS disk and needs "exclusive use of the disk resources".
But what id the Media Server is a virtual machine and the disk that will be used for MSDP is actually a NFS datastore, presented directly through VMware? The NetBackup operating system would still just see a regular fixed big disk and should not be aware that the actual disk is NFS, right?
Is such a configuration supported?
