Virtual Server for Media Server is Posible?

Hi, we need to know if it is possible to implement a virtual media server, whit virtual HBA's.

Anybody Knows?

If it works it's certainly not supported.  Symantec has some technotes on what is supported - I believe if you go to disk only you'll be okay but not tape.

It's possible or not use a vitual server like Media Server.

I understanding it is possible but not recommended, right?

Last I checked, for testing purposes this works.  For production, you will not get support, or at least not good support.

There is an HCL, and minimum hardware requirements, outside of that, it's best effort, and if any technical issue comes to light that is more than just an upgrade or restarting some binaries, dont get alarmed, when the tech tells you, move to a physical media server, and call me back...
