Vmware restoration on alternate vcenter server

Hello,

We are taking vmware snapshot backup through vcenter and we want to restore vmware snapshot backup in vcenter on DR site.

For netbackup replication we are going to use AIR.

Is it possible to restore vmware snapshot backup on alternate vcenter?

If by "through vcenter" you mean a VMware environment which has a VCenter Server, then the short answer, yes... but it depends upon versions and actual configuration.  For normal configuration then definitely the answer is yes, on the assumption that your versions of VMware ESXi and NetBackup are compatible.  If you are doing some kind of advanced storage array snapshot integration then you need to explain what you are doing, or intend to do, for anyone to be able to answer.

Did you mean anything exotic with your term "through vcenter" ?  The NetBackup Plugin for VCenter?

We are taking vmware backup using Replication director on primary site.And going to Replicate netbackup through AIR on DR site. No backup will happen on DR site. We just want to restore VM (backed up on primary site) on DR site and on DR site we have different vcenter.

Do i requried to follow specific procedure for that ? 

On Primary site we using replication director to replicate from Netapp Primary filer to Netapp Backup filer through vmware method.

And on DR site we have EMC VNX box.
