Hi Experts,

1:- We have one standalone option in Media and device management:- Media:-Standalone. What is the use of it?

2:-There is one option more option --- in volume group? What is the use of ---?

1. Standalone means its not in the robot.

2: The "---" volume group mean the tape is not in a robot. This is also called "standalone residence"

If you have a real environment that you are managing, I suggest that you have a careful look at Volume Group before and after tapes are ejected.
