What exactly is specified in Backup Selection?

As per my reply 7 months ago:

Windows Event logs should not be backed up as files, but rather as part of Shadow Copy Components.

What is the NBU version on the client?
W2008 patch/release level?

Windows Event logs should not be backed up as files, but rather as part of Shadow Copy Components.

This should not happen if Windows and NBU patches are up to date.

Latest patches installed and Netbackup 7.5.0.5 installed.

29 November 2012!!!!

It took you 7 months to reply????

Can we assume that this is no longer a problem?
Your original post had 'NBU 7.1.x and Earlier' selected.

Actually after upgrading also it gives the same problem and it is decomissioned and its no more..

But for other servers after upgrading also it still remains.
