Been testing backup of Windows Server 2019 using NetBackup 8.1.2.
Full backup was successful but the differential incremental was partially successful with file
C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs\System.evtx
giving access denied warnings.
Has anyone noticed this? Or is anyone successfully backing up Windows Server 2019 using traditional client method?

Not sure..little curious towards testing..
What is the backup selection..did you exclusively try to backuping up shadow copy componests ? do you see the same results..
also check if there are any excludes enabled in GUI---> host properties---> Clients --> exclude list

@sri_vanithe backup selection is ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES.
Shadow Copy Components were backed up fine during the full (System.evtx was also backed up). The issue is when the Diff Inc happens.

Strange.. Might be at the time of backup, the file is inaccessible/busy or corrupted.. just trying to understand the correlation.. is it always full backup is successful and differential is partial success?
For detailed information pls provide bpbkar log on the client with at least level 3 logging enabled.
