WOFB Hang Issue

Environment : WIndows 2008 R2 64 bit 

NB: Netbackup 7.5.0.5

We are using above configuration for netbackup and the problem is for some of the windows server i was using WOFB enabled for taking backup in 7.1.0.4 and after upgrading in 7.5.0.5 it was not working.

1.When i enable it the job was at hang state and in the client bpbkar and bpfis process started and all the VSS writers are at waiting for completion and backup alone was in hang state.

2. When i disable it bpbkar alone running in the client and backup was completing partially as below

> change journal not enabled on c:\  and d:\ as continues.....

In the first case when i kill bpbkar and bpfis all the writers came to normal and in stable no writers issue also found . please help.

The vss writers will be in a "waiting for completion" status while a backup is running.

Could you give me more details on your issue.  Is the backup failing with a status 130 or 156 ? Is the backup just haning ?   HAve you tried to reboot the box ?

Please upload the job detail status, bpfis, and bpbkar from the client.

Also , look in the application event viewer for any ESE or VSS errors.
