WRITE_ERROR

I found the following line in one of my bptm log files:

log.061606:00:48:55.161 <2> log_media_error: successfully wrote to error file - 06/16/06 00:48:55 SL0112 5 WRITE_ERROR

Can somebody verify that the number "5" before the "WRITE_ERROR" is referring to the drive number?

Thanks,

nk

You should be able to verify in the /usr/openv/netbackup/db/media/errors file. It will have a line in this file if it was indeed a drive error, and it will have the media ID, drive index, then WRITE_ERROR, just as it does in the line you have above.
