What is NetBackup Accelerator ,how can i configure the Acceelerator in windows environment and we have disk backups(OST).Please provide some configuration steps.

Please always give as much info as possible, such as NBU version, OS in the environment (NBU master and media servers) and OST make/model.
Accelerator was introduced in NBU 7.5 for NBU dedupe (MSDP and PureDisk) and some OST vendors.

Thanks for your reply we have NetBackup version 7.6.1 and we don`t have separate media server Master(Windows 2008 server) as a Media server.

PLEASE take your time and go through the documentation.
Look for your OST make/model in the 7.6 HCL to see if it supports Accelerator.

To use Accelerator you must have MSDP or a supported OST configured. So, Yes.. Accelerator is Licensed. To use it with MSDP you must have "Netbackup Data Protection Optimization" license.
